“Reunion” is out!

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a great summer.

I’m thrilled to announce the release of my new album “Reunion” on Tuesday. Sept. 25 on my longtime record label Red House Records. It was produced by my fabulous producer/drummer Ben Wittman, and features some truly fantastic musicians: the guitarists (and multi-instrumentalists) Duke Levine, Kevin Barry and Jon Herington, as well as Stephan Crump on acoustic bass and Zev Katz on electric bass, and Ben Wittman on a zillion things (drums, percussion, harmonium, organ, you name it). We recorded the album mostly live in Brooklyn over 3 ½ days in January (the most I think I’ve ever laughed in 3 days in my life).

And I was very very lucky to have my favorite singers join me on harmonies: Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka, Buddy Miller, Richard Shindell and Jonatha Brooke.

The album has seven original songs, all of which were co-written with my husband Rick Litvin, most of which I’ve performed live; and four cover songs by Eliza Gilkyson, Amy Correia, Woody Guthrie/Slaid Cleaves, and The Beatles.

You can buy the album online at all the usual places, including itunes and Amazon.com. You can also buy it through my website (click on “Store” and you’re taken to my record company’s site). If you buy it through my website I get a share. Of course I’ll be selling the album at my shows too.

If you buy the album as a download from itunes, you can get the digital booklet so you can have the artwork and lyrics.

You can hear previews of the songs on itunes and at Amazon.com.

Also, very very soon I’ll be posting a music video (my first ever!). Stay tuned for news on that front. It’ll be on Facebook, Youtube, etc.

And please “like” me on Facebook (my band/musician page) to get lots and lots of posts/news/photos from me about all kinds of things.

Take care, Lucy
